help, help me, Rhonda. (is that the Beach Boys?)
Anyway, I’m writing today because I’ve been in a bit of an internal debate and I would love to hear everyone’s opinions on the matter.
So, Mason almost always takes his morning nap at 10.
Guess what starts at 10 on Sunday.
This has been a dilemma for us because Mason won’t let you rock him to sleep. He likes to just lay down in his bed and go to sleep by himself. He also sleeps in the car. That’s about it.
So, during church Mason becomes a demon. He is cranky and wants to either run around rampant or go to sleep. So, Brent and I have just been leaving him in the nursery. If he can play and entertain himself, he is usually fine. Then he usually passes out about 2 minutes after we get in the car (making lunch difficult, but that’s not the point).
I guess my battle has been- at what point do I have to teach Mason that he has to sit in church or at least figure out how to get him to just fall asleep.
He’s only 11 months old, but I don’t want to wait too long and then him just be too crazy to sit through church.
Any thoughts from the peanut gallery?
