So- any of you who are weekly church attenders know all about the cups for the Lord’s Supper. I’m sure all of you have encountered this situation- You go to a new church and you don’t know whether to put the little plastic cup back in the tray or in the cup holders in front of you. I know I’m not the only one that carefully watches all the people who get the tray before you to try and make sure that you don’t mess it up.
Well, here’s a curveball for you… the church Brent and I have been going to up here DOES BOTH. It’s weird. Some people put the cup in the tray, some people put it in the pew. Talk about confusing. Brent and I can’t figure out what to do. It seems like if we put it in the tray, everyone around us puts it in the pew and vice versa.
Now, you probably shouldn’t be stressing out about this so much when you should really be focusing on the whole purpose of the Lord’s Supper, but it sure is difficult. I think we are going to be pew-ers. It’s kind of fun. Plus, why do churches install those things if they aren’t going to use them (I’m talking to you, PBL)? It definitely speeds up the whole process.
On a completely different note, we find out the sex of the baby on Thursday! I can’t wait. Check back here then, you guys will be the
5… 6… 70th in line to know. 🙂 Place your bets now.
